Lofoten Mountain Bike Half-day Tour
Lofoten has a great variety of mountain bike trails and stunning views on every corner. This is a great mountain bike tour on a flowy trail with beautiful views. The top plateau section offers scenic 360-degree views. You will see a fjords with hundreds of little islands and just above it steep mountains rising right from the ocean. The trail is very enjoyable for intermediate skilled riders as well as an experienced advanced rider will very enjoy it. The plateau section is fast, flowy with several fun obstacles followed by a more technical rocky section. The very bottom of the hill is through a forest with some rocks and roots to spicy the experience but it is still manageable and fun to ride for an intermediate skill level mountain biker.

You will meet the guide at the parking lot at the bottom of the trail. WC and drinking water available at the rest place/parking lot/tour starting point. Finish at the same place 3-4 hours later.
Terrain and Difficulty
It is best for an intermediate skilled rider with moderate fitness. The total uphill is approx 400alttitude meters. More than half of the uphill section is usually possible to pedal up, the rest is pushing the bike uphill. The top plateau section is a fast, flowy trail with several fun obstacles to jump or roll over followed by a more technical rocky section. The very bottom of the hill is through a forest with some rocks and roots to spicy the experience but it is still manageable and easy to ride for an intermediate skill level mountain biker. The rocky section in the middle of the hill will test your bike handling skills some people may push or skip this sections.
WHAT TO BRING?
Full suspension bike (rent of a bike is possible but recommended to book in advance)
extra clothes like wind or rain jacket
water and food/snacks
Recommended are: extra protection like knee and elbow pads, spine protector, gloves etc
Guide will carry first aid kit and tools for a basic bike repairs
